🗿 Eyedress's brilliant new album 'Stoner' is a heayweight listening session
Eyedress infused the new album 'Stoner' with your favorite music friend's favorite artists. Yes, artists is plural.

Eyedress certainly is not new to the music game, but unless you’ve kept a super close eye on your indie varietals then you might not have his certified indie bops like ‘Jealous’ or ‘Romantic Lover’ in your library. No biggie though, you are totally good company because keeping up with Eyedress is a super difficult if not impossible because he literally zig-zags across indie genre map from dream pop to skate punk to hardcore to tropical. Effortlessly, bridging the some pretty massive gaps.

So with that in mind, as you read the tracklist on ‘Stoner’ it starts to make a little sense how collaborations from Matt Sweeney to The Marias to N8NOFACE to Chad Hugo come into being: Eyedress’s gravity for collabs comes from his gravitas. Or put in other words, these collaborations have been earned the hard way…from decades of delectable releases starting with the four-track ‘Supernatural’ release from 2013, which included a still-blossoming fan favorite ‘Biolumine’ that was made collaboration with artist Skint Eastwood along side three solo songs that show off Eyedress’s switch-stance approach to producing bangers.
Since then Eyedress has released multiple projects leading up to the new album ‘Stoner’, and earned strong following and clearly, high admiration among his musical peers. This album runs over 53 minutes long and while the collaborations are awesome, you will certainly realize Eyedress carries just fine solo. Always has, always will, but Eyedress knows it’s best to open the circle and include some of the homies on the session.
